Town ladies were well beaten by an excellent Leeds United side at Grange Moor.
Without a regular goalkeeper Town were always going to struggle. Playing with a strong wind in the first half Leeds took the lead after only 5 minutes with their first corner of the game and they continued to dominate possession and scored at regular intervals to put themselves 5 - 0 up at half time.
Town were better in the second half and without creating too much did at least keep Leeds at bay, however, with better finishing Leeds could have scored more goals. Two goals were scored in the 55th and 76th minutes to give Leeds a good win but at least this was a good work out for Town and they can be sure that they will not face a stronger side than Leeds in the coming season.
