The under 18's ended their league season with a 12 - 0 whitewash of Shaw Lane Aquaforce
We are holding playing trials for next seasons teams in June. The trials will take place on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June 2013 from 7pm - 9pm at Grange Moor FC, WF4 4DT, for current school years 5 and upwards
The under 18s played their final game of the season at Grange Moor against Shaw Lane.
Town were in control of the game throughout and ended with a convincing victory. Playing a controlled passing game Town created chances but had to wait until the 21st minute to take the lead. They scored three goals in six minutes from Jodie Berry, Alice Linsell and Mel Sutcliffe. Georgia Hamilton made it 4 - 0 in the 43rd minute and she was denied a second goal when the referee blew for half time with the ball on the way into the net.
In the second half Town continued to push forward and added goals from Nicole Pachniuk and two each from Georgia Cooke and Hollie Douglas. Georgia Hamilton added another and there was an own goal. Hayley Clarkson scored her first ever goal for the club in the final minute and she deservedly won the Player of the Match award.
